<![CDATA[<header><h1>Maximization of water efficiency</h1></header><div data-block="gallery"><img src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild6234-3265-4633-a462-396436386561/photo_2025-04-05_08-.jpg"/><img src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild6463-3939-4863-b766-336439613335/photo_2025-06-24_08-.jpg"/></div><div class="t-redactor__text">We are piloting innovative irrigation solutions aimed at maximizing water use efficiency in arid conditions.</div><img src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild3136-3465-4863-a336-396666623734/photo_2025-06-23_21-.jpg"><div class="t-redactor__text"><br /><strong>Trials of Superabsorbent Polymer</strong><br /><br />We use Aquasorb 3005, a superabsorbent polymer produced by SNF, in our research to maximize water efficiency.<br /><br />The goal is to determine the optimal quantity and most effective application method for SAP.<br />At the Arediou site, we launched the initial trial with three test groups and one control group, each containing 10 trees, using different amounts of polymer.<br /><br />The next phase—a larger-scale experiment—is planned for the Pera site, currently in the design stage.<br /><br />➡️ Follow our updates for the latest results and insights.</div><img src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild3363-3837-4263-b365-636437373338/photo_2025-06-23_17-.jpg"><div class="t-redactor__text"><br /><strong>Targeted root irrigation</strong><br /><br />The goal is to further decrease water losses to evaporation and weeds. <![CDATA[<header><h1>Adaptation of Spanish Varieties of Carob Trees</h1></header><div data-block="gallery"><img src="https://static.tildacdn.com/tild3464-3532-4365-b535-316639366665/photo_2025-03-05_13-.png"/></div><div class="t-redactor__text">We selected three carob tree varieties to adapt in Cyprus.<br /><br />Duraio (female tree) is traditional Spanish variety known for its high pod yield and good sugar content. It is considered well-adapted to dry conditions and is widely planted in southeastern Spain.<br /><br /><ul><li data-list="bullet">SDC (female tree) is a selected clone characterized by early fruiting, compact growth, and consistent productivity.
